missingWrote a review on Dec 08stunning rooftop viewsnarrow staircase
The rooftop views at El Meson Del Quijote were absolutely stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop for relaxing evenings.
However, I found the narrow metal staircase leading to the rooftop a bit daunting, which could be challenging for some guests.

the atmosphere was somewhat charming, but the room could’ve been cleaner, as I surprisingly woke up with hair in my mouth. Also, when I asked for a taxi, it was programmed but not available. you’d think a hotel would be more organized. I almost considered leaving a good review, but I just couldn’t deal with this, honestly.

The aesthetic of the hotel truly captures the
essence of San Miguel de Allende, combining contemporary art with a historical feel. The intricately decorated spaces made for a lovely stay. However, the steep climb back to the hotel can be taxing. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Here’s why it’s a mixed review
Charming hotel with a rooftop view, and Oscar's hospitality was exceptional! He catered to all our needs with helpful recommendations that made our stay easier.
The location is steep uphill so it can be tiring, especially on the walk back. Limited onsite dining options meant venturing out for meals.

rooftop view, spacious room, picturesque city views
The metal staircase to the rooftop is quite narrow and may pose a challenge for larger guests!!! Also, the road nearby is busy, leading to noticeable traffic noise at times. Some attention to soundproofing could really enhance the experience!!!

The Deluxe King Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was huge and super comfy, which was perfect after exploring the city. I loved the fresh flowers in the room and the sparkling clean bathroom. Just a minor bummer was the hot water took a minute to kick in. Otherwise, everything was great!

This is just a suitable option for a concise stay in San Miguel de Allende with great value for the money. The fast wi-fi made it easy to plan my day trips around the area. Consider using a taxi if you're not up for a steep walk back after your outings.
